Got free NOS... now clutch slipping!

Hey guys, This is the story, if you want the bottom line question go to the bottom.

Remember how I posted that I got a free Dry ZEX kit with a 55 nozzle? Well it's in now and at first it was pretty nice.

Before I put the kit in my clutch was slipping already. I couldn't even chirp second gear.

After a couple runs with spray it was all good. Just recently I was trying it out in second with my clutch fully engaged and my rpm's just jumped to redline but my car pulled nowhere.

Now when in 5th gear going about 70ish, I full throttle it and my clutch just slips and my engine revs to redlind as well as 110 mph.

Guys, This sucks....

Well now I'm low on the $$$$ from buying a new Fuel Pump, Expensive *** plugs, a FPR, and Close to $500 on school books.

The Bottom Line
Does anyone know if a 5th gen clutch would hold up and work well in a Sprayed 4th gen max?

I think what happened here is that you had a clutch problem prior to using
N2O. By putting more power, hence more wear and tear on your drivetrain, you killed it completely. I wouldnt blame Zex N20 for messing up your clutch. Keep the zex, and get an new clutch.

in the original post he said that his clutch was slipping. and yes, of course the extra power is the problem. go on the freeway or something into 5th gear and hit the N2O if you really wanna see it slip. go for a 6-puck

I dunno man, the 6-puck may be a little too expensive.
Here's what I was thinking: Get an ACT SS clutch with a 5th gen press. plate.

Would this make any difference or would it be the same as a complete 5th gen tranny setup.

Does anyone have a 5th gen tranny setup and spraying? If so let me know how it's holding up or how it held up.

I've read that you are not even suppose to spray in 5th.

So I probably shouldn't even be full throttling it in fifth either then right?

I have a brand new, unused Clutchnet 6 puck clutch with the red pressure plate for sale. I paid $400, I'll let it go for $325 shipped.

why would you want to? 4th gear can do pretty much all the speeds of fifth but faster and safer. besides, why would you be full throttle at like 120?
