Just wondering how many of you use a seperate tank filled with race gas, for your wet kits. I never thought about it but sounds like the best way to go for big shots. No need to waste good octane the other 95% of the time when not spraying..

As i'm putting together my setup for 150+ shots thats the route I decided to go because I plan on using race fuel to help ward off detonation, and want to have the race fuel at my fingertips whenever I want to use nitrous. A 3 gallon stainless steel fuel cell was the cheapest when I was looking at them.. prices rose the smaller or bigger you went from there. All you need is a pump and a seperate FPR for the fuel cell and you're good to go.

I'm just planning on strapping it in in the trunk same way the nitrous bottle is bracketed down. I hope theres no safety reason that that is a terrible idea lol.

I'm think I'm gonna move the battery to the trunk, and put a small cell in it's place. It is a good idea.

You guys should make a sticky or thread of a detailed installation w/ wireing diagrams and pictures.
Just a thought.

It should pay for itself within months.

1. Thats how I emptied the cell, just pumped it out.
2. 1 Gal would last the day at the track if just using for nitrous, if using for engine and nitrous I would fill up every 3 or 4 runs.
3. Usually ran 94 in stock tank and 114 unleaded in cell. Mostly I just used the cell for the nitrous solenoid and stock tank for engine. Never had any pinging with that setup.
