methonal injection

Has anyone used methonal/water injection especially on any turbo max? Any benifits or draw backs? I know it would be more common on a turbo vehicle but what about a non turbo.

Inject some more fuel instead. :P

yeh its good for boost nitrous applications a few use it here. its mainly to prevent detonation.

water injecting cools the hot compressed air going into the engine.
Nitrous is freezeing, so what is there to cool?

nitrous still creates heat overall. the injection is a safety additive to squelch detonation with any high power application. it doesnt increase hp or anything like that.
