nitrous & Jet performance

I am planning on running a 50 shot of nitrous soon, but I want to know if having Jet performance reprogram the ECU is worth the 300 bucks? Since I'll be running nitrous I will ask Jet not to advance the timing. If anyone is running this set-up please tell me whats up. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Stay away from Jet Performance. They are a crap company that does not produce any worthwhile products for the Maxima.

What are you hoping to get out of the jet reprogram? if your looking for hp there are better ways of doing it. If you are looking to adjust a/f I would go with a apex-i s or v afc-II instead. BTW what other mods you have?

i have a jet performance chip and i kinda wished i waited to do my cpu. i didnt know my options and i originally thought i wasnt going to do any further upgrades . but anyways, i still have mine. all i needed to do was buy a timing retard and colder plugs. i have the msd with an adjustable dial so i can turn my timing back up for everyday driving. i am also running a kit from snowperformance (water/ methanol) and i am able to retard the timing less without worrying about running lean (air fuel ratio gauge helps). perhaps this year ill stop being lazy and get my car on the dyno and see what i can get it to do.
