ya i bought the cf lid from nax the front lip got molded to the front bumper and repainted the sides got repainted as well as the rear. I haven't installed anything yet. the front grill got painted black and the cf lid is getting recleared.

I started installing a few things. I mounted the 2 solenoids and the fuel switch. I also put in the water injection pump.

The fuel tap looks pretty good, but is that teflon tape I see on the AN adapters in the solenoids?

Think about what happens when you tighten down those adapters and bits of the tape get cut off inside the solenoids. When you spray, those bits can move down the hoses and into the jets. Blocking a fuel jet can make a really bad day at the track.

Some form of Permabond is commonly used here - to change adapters, you can heat them with a propane torch, then unscrew from the solenoid.

well I read the booklet that came with the kit and there was a diagram that shows you want to put tape on.

 

 

I use teflon paste only for my truck and max, hell the speedshop near my house will not even sell you tape if your running nitrous

they rather you get the tape somewhere else that way you can not blame them later
