Using stering wheel buttons

I want to know if anyone has used the stering wheel buttons to control: nitrous, bottle heater, purge, remote opener, etc. I want to go extreamly steath with my install and those look like a good start.

I believe Jime did some mods with cruise-control buttons - you'd have to search or PM him for details.....

In your center console, just about the ashtray theres the compartment that flips open well on my fourth gen there is.You could probally set it up inside that and have the push button there and then close it when not using.Thats pretty stealthy if you can wire it up that way

True, but ppl have that already. Besides thats where a lot of the "stealth" installs go. Having it on stock stering wheel buttons tho...no one will suspect that.

On the left side of the steering wheel is a removable plate ... maybe you can cut it up and enjoy.

Im going to use the steering wheel buttons, Im not looking for a place to do it. (I have found the place I want) My question is if anyone has done it this way if so, do I need a relay to make it work right. I don't think the buttons are a push on push off switch. Therefore I will need something wired into it to make it that way. Well, thats only for the heater and the arming switch really.

I'd highly recommend relays regardless of what you use for a switch, go to a junkyard and find an old volvo or benze and get some basic bosch 12v relays
