NHRA inspection

to my knowledge a blow down tube is not required in our cars because the trunk seals? thats the only reason I can think of why I wouldnt pass a tech inspection.

You don't need one for the inspection but its a good idea regardless of where your bottle is. Better to err on the side of caution.

Blowdown is required if the bottle is in the driver's compartment. If you're not driving from the trunk, you should be OK. They let me run that way.

I've been fussed at by tech guys because the blowdown tube I did install in my trunk was not connected, but there was no reason to have it connected, so never mind....

According to 2006 rules, if you have nitrous, you need a fireproof jacket. G-Force at Jeg's, about $80 shipped. Enforcement depends on the track, even at test-n-tunes, but I got kicked out at tech inspection once because of the jacket rule.
