Anyone with Zex and 3.5 PLease Step In

Ok if anyone here has the zex kit on a 3.5 I need help on how you guys were able to do the learning for the tps. Mine will not learn and I got white to white.

Press the button to learn and wait for it to turn red, put the car in first gear and stab the gas.
