75 shot and 2* advance on 3.5... anybody else?

Well I decided to try a few runs with the 75 shot while I still had my timing advance in and I'm getting 0 detonation. Pulled the plugs after and no signs of trouble. Has anybody else had experience with spraying a 75 shot on the Consult advanced stock timing? Any trouble? I know Jime sprayed a 75 shot with the UTEC set to 22 degrees advance, but I'm not sure how that compares to stock timing.

Just for clarification I'm running 1 step colder NGK copper plugs gapped to .035 and it's definately running a bit rich up top (about 10.5:1 N/A) with .022 fuel and .041 nitrous for jets.

if your running 10.5, thats basically whats allowing you not to get any detonation, due to that extra fuel, ofcourse your holding back power because of that. but its better to be safe.

As far as I understand with info coming from Jime and Grey, It's not likely I'll see any more power with 12:1 on spray than I will with 10:1. Now N/A... thats a different story. UTEC is coming soon... Then I can change maps on the fly for N/A or nitrous.

Good to know. I kind of assumed as much after seeing so many of the big shot guys running stock timing on 125-200 shots, but I wanted to see who else had done it.

When I had my Maxima, I was also running 75 shot with 2degree advance; 4 10lb bottles of nitrous. No problems whatsoever.

I've been spraying it a good bit and not a single issue. Looks like all the timing worries apply more to 3.0s than the 3.5s, at least with a small shot like a 75.
