I came across this phone chillin in the parking lot where i had parked my car. i happen to have one my self, well the windows powered one, this is the palm powered one. I have had it for 2 weeks now just sitting in my glove box. Not sure what its worth to anyone. I know i should have a price here but dont know its value. i know mine without a plan was 570. Help me out here, what can i do with this thing.

First thing to do is call the carrier and give them the ESN. Do the right thing, its either lost or stolen and im sure someone would love to have it back. Some people (like me) keep insurance but not everyone does.

Just call verizon and give them the #, what will they do from there. not gonna send 5-0 to my house and lock a brotha up right. only found the thing in the lot

LOL understandable, but they wont lock u up . Most likely they will simply ask you to send the phone to them, and give it back to the owner. If a claim has been settled on the phone they porbably wont even want it. It's hard to say. They provide the pre-paid shipping and all.

Thats the best way to handle it. They wont think you stole it since you are calling them about it, thieves dont call lol. BUT on the flip side say you sell it, and a few weeks later whoever bought it tries to activate it. Now they get hit for a stolen phone and put it on you.

If the phone had numbers call them and just let them know that you found the phone. I am sure that the first five people you call will know the phone number and know the person who belongs to that number
