All iPods and Apple products for that matter are assembled in China. When you purchase new computers, they build them over there and ship them directly from there to you.

actually, when i got my macbook pro, im positive it came from cali... not sure about where it was actually pieced together, but it was def. shipped to me from their place in cali

btw, still have this for sale by any chance?
