its hidextra hids just without their stickers on them so their is a discount received to bring them to ballasts wiring and bulbs (any size bulb/color up to 12000k (deep blue)) for 45$ they will warranty one part out on the hid setup like one ballast or one wiring harness if it fails in a year because they are confident in their stuff. if worst comes to worst and something happens 45$ isnt much for hid setups i sell them to people around my house for 55$ on a regular basis but doing 10$ cheaper on here.

i will throw up some pics of mine and my buddies when i get a chance i have 8000k and he has 12000k (i can actually show you 3+ cars from the car club i am in that is using the same hid system in all of their cars) some just havent had a chance to order them yet.

http://www.hidextra.com/automobile-h...b414a959c93f1c (same brand same warranty just the ones i get are cheaper since they dont have the companies name on them. plus i have companies that let me use discount information when i order.

Just about all cheap HID ballasts are made from the same Chinese company. I have one working one. The other blew when I was washing my engine bay. Even though it seemed water-proof when I took it apart, water will find its way. So if anyone is going to get them, keep in mind that they are not water-proof. Mine never had issues with not igniting though.

you dont contact hidextra directly about the warranty info on these ones though but they do replace something if it goes bad within 1 year.

Sounds like your selling parts out the back door of your workplace. Would you mind if I emailed them a link to this thread?

If HID kits claim to be waterproof but aren't, I wouldn't buy or sell them.

No... I didn't get ripped off. I know what I want when I pay for something. It's called quality over quantity (that cheap crap).

$300.00 for just HID's is very expensive. I can get them for $200, or OE quality for $150.

Just buy them from ebay for like $30-35 shipped........unless you're going OEM, most all kits are from China....no need to pay extra for same quality.....plus u get to get ebay bucks

Not the best sales tactic, but at least he's honest. I'm tired of Chinese junk. Can't we just impose a trade embargo until they can send us products that
last longer than a week?

Ummm... DDM tuning has slim ballasts that run 45 bucks for a set with bulbs. Used them in my retrofit, never looked back....

Hello, my husband got me hid kits for my car. These are so much brighter and
look a lot nicer. He got them
from a website besthids.com for only $29.95 each with a 3 year warranty. Shipping was cheap and they
were at my door in 3 days. I hope this helps you out.
