I plan on using a Walbro fuel pump and Vortech FMU 8:1 disk (I think that's what it's called?). Anyways, I hear that the stock fuel pressure regulator is weaksauce and will make you run rich. Some say only at idle, some say you'll run rich all the time. I plan on using a 3.33" or 3.125". What should I do? I don't want to drop $150 for an auto-adjusting regulator, but I dont wanna lose power and destroy my plugs either.

Do you already have an 8:1 disk? If not ill sell you one. I got two by accident. Stillen sent me one in my kit. It was like 40ish. Ill sell it to you for like 30 shipped if you want. It is brand new. I am running the stock fuel pump and the one in the kit with an 8:1 and have a 3.25 pulley...

I'm on the stock FPR and it running super rich... I hear backfire everytime I let off the throttle at high speeds.. I plan on getting an AFC and getting it Dyno Tuned.. And if that's not enough, then I plan on upgrading the fuel pump..
I'm definitely losing power.. I ran against another org member who is supposedly NA. I pulled on him til about 80mph on a rolling start and he stayed on my **** from there on..

No thanks, Coolkids including a new 8:1 disc and 6:1 in his kit.

RBa That's NOT a good sign! So I guess everyone here has automatic FPR's w/their aftermarket fuel pumps? Major booadge.
