SC pics... a little confused

Ok, I've been looking at lots of SC's in 4th and 5th gens.. why is it that some have two pipes and others only have one.. for example:

5th gen:

4th gen:

Also, I noticed that the 5th gen has his blow off valve very close to the TB. I can't seem to see where is the MAF, but isn't the blow off valve suppose to be before the MAF as to prevent stalling?

One of the reasons why the 5th gen crossovers are different is becuase of the MAFS. Read the other posts and see. Thats the reason why 4th mostly all 4th gen kits are just one cross over vice two. I seen a 4th gen with 5th gen setup. That MAFS was located before right behind the air filter. Every thing else is all the same.

some have two pipes because they are using the air intake from stillen. Some just have one pipe because they convert to CAI. Using the top pipe from stillen is really restrictive because it is not a straight pipe and the air filter is located right behind the radiator fan.

my MAF located right above the air filter, behind the radiator fan. Check out the SC installing instruction sticky for more detail. I havent experienced any stalling.
