fact or fiction?...

well fellas... correct me if i am wrong but from what i gather the v2 SC runs alittle lean...right?.... now this is the fact or fiction part... this guy told me that by running lean it strains the engine and would only last about 3 months (if driven hard) unless i got a piggyback computer for the ecu to make up for the lost fuel... he said i would definitely need engine management control... so if this is true.... you mean to tell me i spent G's on a SC only to have it ruin my engine?... i mean i've never heard any of you all complain... i am only running the stock pulley with SC... please tell me he is wrong...

Does he know that you will be running with a FMU and an auxiliary fuel pump?

You will be installing those too right?

He isn't completely wrong.
S/C actually does strain the engine and tranny but it wont blow in 3 months(Unless you're out everynite dragging or doing burnouts).. Your car is probably running rich if you didn't tune it yet, which the S/C is designed to do with a stock FMU..
You can get an AFC(piggyback computer) and have it tuned on a dyno.
There's your engine management!..

And change your spark plugs..
