Last minute questions before SC fully reinstalled. please help.

Hi all: before I put everything back together, I will like to confirm these first. please help me out.

1)is there a torque spec for the bolts that holds the plate to the blower? I torque the long bolt to 15lb and short and biggner bolt to 25 lb. is it ok?

2)If my belt was aligned before, does that mean I dont have to worry about pulleys alignment? The belt will run straight once I put everythig back together, correctly? The shredded belt will not affect the belt alignment?

3)is it ok to apply a small amount of silicon lubricant to the bearings of the tensioner and idler pulleys?

that's it for now.....any other suggestion/tips are welcome.

thanks in advance....and wish me luck

Yea, I initially torqued them to 30-something and I used the anti-seize instead of the loctite since I figured I might have to change a belt later and didn't want any problems from those hex bolts. I can't really say for questions 2 and 3 though, hopefully I don't have to change a belt anytime soon to find out.

Don't use locktite. I never used anti-seize, but it will make deinstallation easier the next time.

2/ Unless you already had some thin washers on the mounting plate your alignment should be ok. If you did have them make sure they're in the original places.

3/ I don't think that will be a problem.
