Hobbs switch mod help

I just had the S/C kit installed and got the car back last night, it feels amazing, such a difference from N/A. My problem is when I tried the Hobbs switch mod today. What I did was unplug the hose going into the hobbs switch and then plugged the hose. When I took it for a test drive it bogged when the boost kicked in so i pulled over and reconnected the hose. Should I remove the hose that connects to the switch altogether and just plug the 5-way tee? or do you have to plug the switch as well as the hose? any help would be great, thanks

remove the hobbs switch all together and wire the inline pump to a relay

Disconnecting the hose (and plugging it up) should have worked, though.

I'll be playing around with it tomorrow, hopefully i can figure it out, i hate that lag that i'm getting before the pump kicks in. I bought a walbro pump from the group deal i guess i'll be installing it sooner than i thought, thanks for all the help
