Walbro FP installed, have a few ?'s(long)

I installed a walbro fuel pump in my 99 maxima w/V2 SC today and everything went fine, it started right up after with no leaks or anything. I went to get gas after and had my tank filled and now the pump is really noisy, to the point where i can hear it clearly on the outside of the car. I have no clue why it would be this noisy, i havent unhooked the stillen aux. fuel pump and switch yet, would that be the problem? also if i cut the yellow wire that runs from the hobbs switch through the firewall will that disable the aux. fuel pump until i get a chance to remove everything? thanks for the help

What is your fuel pressure and why are you combining the Walbro with the Aux fuel pump?

you need to determine if you require additional pressure from the Aux inline...or just run the Walbro to the FMU an dleave the Aux unit off.

from the posts I read on the fuel pump, it is noisy but good to have with stock fuel pump.

just my two cents...good luck

thanks for the reply wizzamax, the pump is actually starting to quiet down a lot. Before it did, it was louder than the V2. And I have yet to dissconnect the aux. fuel pump, which is my next question. Does anyone have any detailed instructions on how to remove the aux. pump?
any info would be great, thanks

look at your aux pump, you will see a hose go into the pump and the other hose exit the aux pump which connects to the fuel rail. Disconnect the hose that connects into the fuel rail and connect the one that goes into the aux pump to the fuel rail
