Intercooler vs No Intercooler

Newbie question: How much money and time is saved not going with an intercooler? Can an intercooler be added easily afterwards?

if you're turboing... get a ic and install it when you're doing the turbo... It makes running piping easier. You can add it afterwards, assuming you planned out how you want to run piping. It all depends on how you set it up. The ic is quite expensive, but you're better off doing it along with the turbo all at once.

Money saved can be in the range of $500-1000. But then again might end up costing more in the long run to add it cause if the piping wasnt planned out well, they might have to redo the downpipe if it gets in the way.
