Hey i was wondering if anyone knows the stock setting of a AUDI 5000s turbo... My friend has an External Wastegate from one, and says i should use it. I plan to use a boost controller to set the psi anyway, but i was wondering at what level it comes at stock

 

I am not sure the PSI they are set to.. but keep in mind with a boost controller you can not go lower than what the wastegate is set to...(let's guess on the audi 10-12psi? i dont know) You can only go higher.

i believe its 8psi stock,my friend had one, we took the wastegate off,pluged the hole, took it to the track, boosted to about 18psi, and blew the engine on our second run

 

Hahaha Thats a funny story. Yeah i have been e-mailing guy i meet on there forum asking him ,and he said 4-5 psi, but the boost guage on the car isent 100% right, so it could be anywere from 4-8 witch is not to bad of a stock setting for a turbo maxima

 

Oh yeah i also forgot to add, that the Spring on the External Wastgate on thoes cars CAN be changed... So im preaty sure im going to use it for my Cutsom turbo project.
