I believe the bearings are replaceable but...

Anyways the Lexus one sounds interesting... any pics?

I'm gonna try my luck with putting in the steel ASP one sitting in my room, though.

you could have just picked up a new bearing for that idler pulley from NAPA for $10.00.

the pulley was starting to warp, bearing was snapped.
to save myself the headache of the pulley breaking, belt tearing off and have to tow the car to get it fixed, i rather spend the 75 on the pulley.
this pulley is great, last night we went on some runs and i felt a huge difference with this one on. idle was alot better car responded nicely also.

I'd like to see ome pics of this pulley. My polyurethane one is still holding up (knock on wood), but it wouldn't hurt to have a reliable backup.

Good to know... does Jeff also have access to a pulley of same spec as the kit's tensioner?
