With looking at the Tial Wastegate before I install it, how the hell do you turn the spring up/down? I tried removing the allen head screws but YEAH RIGHT, those things are on there. Anyone know?

Dont you have a bolt right on the top of the TIAL wastegate? That adjusts the spring pressure to control if you want 7 or 8 or 9psi if you had a 7-9psi spring in there.

Now to remove the spring, there are I believe 6 bolts around the wastegate head, that removes the whole top and in there is a large spring you would change out. It almost takes two people to put it back on cause you need one who is putting mad weight on the top while the other gets in there with the bolts.

Nope Dixit, no adjuster screw here. It is the newer 38mm Tial wastegate. It has a 1/8" NPT threaded hole on the top for a vacuum source and another similar hole on the side for the other vacuum source. I just do not see an adjuster nut on it.....

I got a feeling that those are not adjusting wastegates. Ive hear those used alot with supras and other HP vehicals that always use boost controllers with them. I bet thats the reason.

Hmmm, but how do I know if it is at 7,8, or 9 psi? Thanks again Dixit.

From what im looking at it doesnt seem to be adjustable. Seems to be a fixed rate spring based on the spring you have in there. PS, you get my email about the calipers?

just to add to what Dixit says, as far as I know, I'm 100% sure the 38mm are NOT adjustable w/o a form of BC, so no spring swapping like the 40mm!

Well, that is fine. I already installed th Blitz ID Version 3 boost controller.........hehe.
