Injectors by Russ Collins of RC Engineering

Good stuff in here about injector types like low resistance("Peak & Hold") vs. high resistance("Saturation"), effects of atomization, brand differences, testing methods used, etc.

Good article, thanks for providing the link.

It was strange, though, to hear the author praising a Lucas electrical part. Having owned a few 60's era British sports cars and motorcycles, you get used to always using the word "crappy" in the same sentence as "Lucas electrics".

Yeah...everything I was reading was downing Lucas injectors, but RC Engineering thinks they are the best.

I guess the article is biased, but lots of useful stuff still.

Yeah...it takes a few reads to get it all. BTW, all the equations are on RC Engineerings' website.

Oooh, there it is again.

So are maxima injectors low or high resistance?

High resistance(2K-2K1 = 13.5ohm-17.5ohm) "saturation" injectors.

Some good pics on different nozzle types and different injectors:
