IAVC line placement with boost.......

Ok, if the MAF is on the Charged side, does the IAVC line have to go on the charge side, along with that little little line as well? Of can the IAVC line go on the non-charged side with that little line? And one more thing, can that little line just be plugged into a manifold vacuum source or just left open?

And, on another note, what side can the ambient sensor go one? I have a 96 Maxima, so my ambient sensor is the two-screw unit. I DO NOT trust this ambient sensor because I see it leaking charged air (boost). Can I put this unit on the intake side of the turbo instead on the charged side?

Thanks all.

I think the IAVC should stay on the charged side. The little line we plugged into the vacuum tee. If you leave it open, you will have a vacuum leak. At first, on Jason's car we left it open and the car threw a code. Then we plugged it into the tee and everything was fine.

Put the intake ambient on the charged side if you want the most accurate measurement, however i put mine on the intake side because I dont think it can seal too well and will probably be a boost leak there.
