first you have to find out what codes are stored in there.
you can take it to local autozone to have them pull the code for you and then you can refer these code to Hayne's manual or factory FSM.

i found the codes in a book but i dunno if they are correct
0140 02 sensor
1130 some about fuel pressure (but i think it is the swirl control valve)
0505 idle control

0140 shows that a possible CAT failure or O2 sensor failure, not a big deal since its a non-performance based O2 and doesnt affect performance of the engine when the code is thrown.

1130 - is the swirl control valve. Probably an intake leak to the swirl control valve, check the small line on it.

0505 - idle air controle vavle. This one is going to be tough, could be an issue with the valve itself. You can always do an Idle air Volume learning to reset it and see if it comes back. To do that,
1. Turn on ignition switch to ON and wait at least 1sec.
2. Turn off ignition switch to OFF and wait least 10secs
3. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temp.
4. Turn off igition switch and wait at least 10sec.
5. Start engine and let it idle for at least 30secs
6. Disconnect TPS sensor harness and reconnect it within 5secs.
7. Wait 20secs
8. Make sure idle is within spec, then rev engine 2-3 times and make sure idle is still within spec.

i dont think 0140 would be a cat failure on my car cuz i took the cat out.... wuld it be becuae my car was very rich for a long time that all the fuel in the mixture made the o2 **** up???

turning up the idle would throw the code, so that answers that question.

the 0140 code is from your precats, not your main cat. On a 2k1 there is no O2 being the main cat, that are in the precats. So one of those has issues. Running crazy rich doesnt affect those O2s because it checks the cats precense and if it works.

there are two precats and the y pipe took away one of them... but then the o2 is before the cat that i took out so i dont know why there would be a problem with the o2

and i ll have to check the swirl control valve
but would these three engine codes affect my boost?? and performance???

and for some reason my car kept stalling before i adjusted the idle, now, it still cant hold idle properly, i think i am too rich at idle and i ahve no idea why
i have the walbro pump with 8:1 fmu...

if your swirl control valve is not operating correctly and is always shut, then your performance will suffer.
