Grrrr Half way done

well, ive been workin on the install for 10 hours now and called it quits for the nite.

i don't have the drain back hose from the guy that i bought it off of didn't include it and im having trouble figuring out which bolts are which on the bracket.

i have everything prepared for the bracket to be installed and have the aux fuel pump almost completely wired. the lower alternator bolt was a pita.

the bracket and the awic is the big project for tomorrow.

comments, questions?

do you have instruction with you?

bolts on the bracket - are you talking about the bolts that hold the blower to the bracket or the smaller bolts that hold the bracket to the timing chain case?

if you having problem i.d. the parts....use the complete SC list in the stickie. the list front stillen instruction is not complete.

which bolts are you trying identify? the bolts that connect the mounting bracket to the blower?

if so...there are 3 type of bolts and they are all flat head cap screw (FHCS).
6 long bolts that use 7/32 allen key
2 medium size bolts that use 8mm allen key
1 shortest bolts that also uses 8mm allen key

they are highlighted on the partlist that I posted yesterday in this thread.

alright...I am back home and I have the instruction here.

btw, you can still download the instruction in pdf format @ max-world.org.

for the bolts that go into the crank case...refer to photo 8 in the instruction. you can always use a ruler to measure the length of the bolt to determine which one's which. all the M6 bolts are 10mm hex bolt, the M8 bolts are 12mm. The M10 bolts are either 17mm or 19mm, I forgot.

Rerouting the metal pipes, the cool down pipes. We can't figure out hot to bend them exactly. One dude said to just get some brake hose and cut it to match. He was supposed to bring them last night but I don't know if steve got them...

interesting - my installer didnt use the metal pipe. we used all rubber hose for the power steering...and we attached the hose to a small ATF cooler.

drain back hose is the same hose as the cranck case breather hose to the stock air box. stillen cut it to be shorter. check my cardomain for pics of the two hoses side by side.

I still don't understand the problem...the kit should have rubber hoses and a cooler tube...what are you missing or trying to change?

He got the KIT used from some guy who blew his motor. I don't think there were any hoses shaped like that in there anywhere...

Make sure you use the correct drainback hose (or the equivalent posted by jdmmax) or you will regret it down the line...
