Since the PFI Kit was made for the 4th gen what things do I have to consider when trying to put it in my 5th gen. Can somebody give me a heads up on what things I will incounter. Who else can I call or e-mail with my questions.

 

The MAF location in reference to the piping may be a problem.


I thought the PFI kit was going to make a kit for a 5th gen ?

 

MAF is on the uncharged side on the PFI kit. Only thing I see that's different would be the fuel system b/c of the returnless fuel. Just figure out what the 5th Gen supercharged guys use for fuel enrichment and copy it. And figure you're gonna have to have a little work done on the pipes for the intercooler to line up but that seems to be part of the kit anyway.

 

Didnt Y2kevSE put the PFI kit on his 5th gen??

 

Deac has a 5th Gen PFI kit also

Kev's kit isn't "moddified" he only changed something for the downpipe to connect to the catback.. its nothing major

 

NO it is still a PFI kit. Same exact thing I got! Even the superseries Ball bearing turbo.
