dyno'd the SC setup...

a couple weeks ago i dynoed my very untuned SC setup. this dyno is with the following mods....

V1 blower - 3.125 pulley
walbro 342 blah blah fuel pump
8:1 FMU
AEM FPR
MEVI
mandrel y-pipe

stock ecu
stock exhaust from the Y back
stock injectors
stock clutch and tranny

the reason i dynoed the setup like this is to see where i was at and how much of a gain all the other stuff i have laying here will make and to see how filthy rich i am running. (the AFR on the pictured run went above 10:1 right after the 4k mark) and also i am only seeing 6-7 psi on my boost gauge. either my gauge is jacked up or my setup is leaking somewhere.

i have attempted to install the JWT ECU and 370s twice now with the same result of the car shooting gas out of the tailpipe. i will try once again this weekend to get them to work..i am sold on it being an o-ring/seating issue. i may have the trick figured out...i may not...i hope for the best. also have lightened flywheel and stronger clutch to install with a LSD tranny...but i am going to wait on that until my stock stuff is basically undriveable.

the picture i have is not from the best run of the session (the best run didnt end up on my disk go figure.) as you can see the operator let off at 5700 rpm making 276hp 261tq. what a dooomasss. but the best full run yielded 286hp 262tq. this was directly after the 276/261 run so the motor was nice and hot. only if he let that run go out with the car cool...but oh well life is full of 'what ifs'. the way the curve looks...if it continued to climb at the same rate to 6.5k it could have hit 300 untuned and no ECU and injects. oh well.

also...what is up with that flatened area around 5.3k? that is where my VI opens so i am strongly guessing that it has to do with that. cause it does it on my NA dyno (set at 5k) but not nearly as dramatic as the SC dyno. any ideas are appreciated.

so i guess i can hope for 300/310+ hp with all the other goodies on the car. the other dyno on the picture is my best NA dyno pull just to show the difference of taking out the JWT NA ECU, UR UDP and putting in blower, FP, FPR.

enjoy....all feedback is greatly welcome. thanks for viewing.

Wow - same mods as me with the same pressure problem.

About the same Dyno numbers also. Although I was tuned to 12.1:1 and pulling numbers like that with a full exhaust.

Turns out I was leaking 3-4 PSI at the compressor itself. Spray it with a soap/water solution and then reach over and move the Throttle Body to rev the engine.

I know this is off topic but Requin6's how does the stock clutch hold with all the power your pushing now? Is it a Nissan clutch, or Stock replacment?

Nice numbers without a B-pipe. I put down similar numbers to yours on a V1 w/3.00" pulley (no MEVI), however I think my blower is gonna need a rebuild in the near future.

w/o the B-pipe I put down something like 230fwhp. With the b & cat removed it went up 40 to 270. I expected slightly higher numbers from you. If your stock B-pipe is hurting you as much as it was me -- get rid of it!
