Did I tap into the wrong Fuel Line for the Fp gauge??-->>

I installed a FP gauge but like an idiot I tapped into the fuel line that comes from FMU(the lower hose)and goes god knows where under the firewall. Why i did that, was because the line was already precut and had an adapter there.

But was I suppose to tap into the hose that comes from the fuel filter and goes to the engine????

My FP is like 1.6(its digital)

Any thoughts?

You must tap upstream of the FMU... otherwise you are measuring the "bled off" excess gas going back to the tank.

Yeah, you need to tap the hose from the fuel filter, or anywhere on the feed side before the stock FPR. On Sadler's car, I accidentally told him to tap after the FMU and it read like 9 psi or something wacky like that. Retapped on the feed side right after the fuel filter and it read fine. You tapped the low pressure return line to the tank, so it's not the correct reading.

No problem with gauges. Its the installer's error, that all. The gauges are awesome.
