if you use the small UDP no, if you get a duplicate of the stock one exact same diameter dunno I have not seen anyone w/that set up. I am sure it would not hurt.

I was just gonna ask the same question...So if SC'ed, its best to use the stock pulley?

I was thinking with the lighten UDP pulley that it would help the SC pulley spin faster, but with that would that cause the belt to slip more and even the SC pulley to melt with the faster movements

lighten UDP with stock diameter will make the SC more responsive but you wont make it spin faster. your SC rpm at certain engine rpm is still the same. to make SC spin faster, you will have to
1.increase crank pulley diameter
2.use smaller SC pulley
3.raise engine rpm (JWT ECU)
4.all of the above.

the cause of a slipping belt is bad alignment.

I dont think you have to worry about melting the SC pulley.....but pay attention the the stillen plastic idler/tensioner pulley.

Yes, if you're talking about sideways slipping or jumping ribs.

Slipping of a properly aligned belt against the pulley is due to insufficient traction. This can be caused by insufficient friction between the belt and pulley due to insufficient belt tension and/or a slippery pulley surface, or insufficient surface contact area between the belt and the pulley. Smaller pulleys have less contact area, so the belt needs to be tighter to prevent slipping.

A smaller driven pulley not only has less contact area, but it also has a smaller moment arm for generating the torque necessary to drive the blower, so you get hit twice.

he's asking about belt slipping with lighten UDP in stock crank pulley diameter.
