Has anyone else had a BIG problem with the v2 bracket?

So some of you know my problems with this installation and its taken forever.

Last night i went to run another belt so i could finally boost and i go to take off the bracket and the same part fell off. its the arm that houses the idler pulley.

the idler pulley seemed to have a flat spot on the bearing and it didn't spin that great, but for the tension on the belt to cause that make me wonder what kind of machining they do at stillen and vortech.

they are definitely getting a call today

pics will be posted later, but this is the part that im talking about

How did you break the arm off? The whole mounting plate is supposed to be in one piece. I must have missed your earlier posts. Did you buy the kit used?

Metal or plastic pulley? if its metal you will need a set of pliers to remove that ring that holds it in place. Place a socket under the pulley. Grab a rubber mallet and bang it out and head out to NAPA and replace it. If its plastic I dont think you can do that. I ll check my plastic pulley this evening and get back to you.

So wait, is that your second bracket that you broke?

BTW the bracket is made by Stillen. Vortech has nothing to do with it.

I read to fast, he said the same part broke off again? How did you do that? Then only thing I can think of that part breaking off is if he tighten the beeejeeeeez out that belt to place enouh tension on the belt when it spins that it snaps that piece right off.
