Max boost on a V1 and V2?

What is the max boost that can be ran on a V1 and on a V2 (15psi,20psi,etc)?
One last thing where can I see or hear a vid or sound clip of a V1 and V2 on a max?

I think max boost is 14 psi on V2 and 13 psi on V1. Not sure, you can make more boost but you would have to make a custom smaller pulley.

Will you over spin the supercharger if you go over 14psi on a V2 or 13psi on a V1?

I think some people are alreayd overspinning the supercharger with their extended rev limiter. I do not know how much they over spin it but I think Mardi Gras can answer this questions better or anybody with supercharger expierence.

From my sicussions with Mardi, you can push 14PSI relatively safely, but Vortech recoomends no more than 11 (V1) or 12 (V2).

But their recoomendation is just that - a reccommendation.

(IIRC)

Of course, their recommendation is based on their desire for a reliable product with a good reputation. So their recommendation is probably pretty much on the conservative side. But you didn't hear it from me.

http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/products/units/ Vortech said that the V1 and V2 can run 20psi. What the hell.
