I found this in clubwrx.net. Pretty neat idea but people say the turbo is probably too small for the max. Are any of those people who posted on that thread a member of maxima.org?

If you going to go turbo, actually buy a decent turbo. At least a t3/t4. A cheap turbo, then what? You have a million other things to buy, might as well spend the extra hundred and get a new turbo that will last.

that **** will run out of breath on you before you get into it! Too small. T3/T4 if your pockets are almost empty

 

Isn't WRX STI twin turbo?

 

STI is single turbo

 

Does anyone know what the size of the STi Turbo is? I'm to lazy to look it up on the scooby forums. I think I know someone who is selling a t3/t4 turbo (new) for 400 or so bucks. If your are interested I'll take a look.

 

It's too small for the Subaru, as Jay said, it will run out of breath sooo fast, it isn't even funny!

 

well its not too small for the subaru, I push 18psi all the way to my rev limiter.

 

Just hook up a hairdryer to your TB and there you go instant boost
