Walbro??
Walbro??
Ok.. I'm going to purchase the Walbro Fuel-Pump 255lhp, just needed some info:
1. The correct part number is (GSS342) High Pressure/HighFlow?
2. Does this unit comes pre-wired, with fittings and filter bag?
3. Here are a couple of sites selling it...
http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/
http://www.lightningmotorsports.com/walbro.htm
The price is about $113, not sure if I can get it cheaper anywhere alse?

That's the right number, but it comes with no fittings, just the pump. It fits the stock connectors and you reuse the stock bag.
Check out importpoweronline.com $85 shipped. I've bought like 4 there already.

If one buys the kit with the bag, is the bag usable on our cars? It is obviously a smaller bag, but does that matter?
(We lost the little thing that holds the stock bag on on my car)

I bought mine on eBay for like $50 shipped. Search on there first. Mine said it was for a Prelude or something, but was the right part number. I also have directions on page 2 of my website.
Yeah, definitely check eBay first. Sometimes there are good deals, but most of the time, they're still $90-100 shipped.

You will not need to get the "install kit" cuz it only fits the DSM cars... My writeup is on the sticky How2 thread. Be aware that your base fuel pressure will go up a bit (around 40psi).
Not a problem... I have the Vortec SFMU.. I believe you can reduce the base Fuel Pressure from 40psi to whatever the norm is...

I just finish having a WALBRO FP installed.
The GSS342 and GSS341 both work. I actuallly ended up with the GSS341 ($90.00 shipped thru eBay). The best answer I could ferret-out was that the only difference in the two is the KITs supplied.
The KIT strainer bag would not fit so I used the stock strainer.
The IDLE PF is @ 40 to 41 with the stock Fuel Pressure Reg. I also have a BELL FMU controlling the high end.
The car (1996 5 speed max) runs well. No Problems. I also am running the Stillen Kit AUX FP.
