best clutch for V2

I am in the market for a clutch and I have been looking at the ACT and the Exedy stage one clutches...in your opinion which one would hold up better and be less harsh on the transmission? From what I have read I am leaning toward the exedy, but I would like opinions or experiences. Thanks.

The ACT will hold just about all the power the SC can throw at it, and won't cause any damage if you use your head.

Hes correct. Like I said before drivers blame the **** on the clutch. All three of my cars have ACTs. The one 95 max has a ACT PPl and stock disc. It transfers all the power. If you know what your doing when you start off in 1st and 2nd gear you should not have any problems. Our tranny cases are pretty thin and any clutch could break it. Hows that? improper take off, doing burn outs on trays, letting the wheels hop for an extended period of time and the list can go on.

ACT great clutch for the money it holds all the power you throw at it.

Exedy I have not seen anyone thats pushing over 300HP with one. If someones out there pushing 300HP with an exedy clutch they need to post. I am pushing 325HP 307lbs of torque w/ACT stage 1 the street setup.

yes you can get a kit from clutchnet but there not cheap somewhere in the range of 400$

should be able to go to www.clutchnet.com to order one

the only reason i went with my setup is i had perchased a used act clutch kit which had a solid hub 6 puck disc and after some searching and thinking i desided i better not run it so i bought just the clutchnet disc because all my honda friends run clutchnet kits and i drove one and i liked it plus the disc was only 25$ more than a new ACT street disc so i figured what the heck
