belt keeps coming off s/c

let me explain.. I replaced my s/c because i was in a accident..
i was hit on the front pass quarter panel.. the result was a damaged s/c
and my alternator pulley got damaged..i removed the alternator and replaced and also put in new s/c.. the belt keeps riding off from the alternator.. it seems like the alt pulley is further in than the others.
it also looks like the s/c pulley is sticking out a little further.. how far in do you push the s/c in and wher should the inner spacer lay... and also
could it just be something im doing wrong .. thanks to morpheus17 who helped me rip it apart and put it back together we arre both stumped..
im suppose to be at mars by now, damn... somebody please help me get my boost back

where did you get your alternator? if you use the autzone alternators be careful. Theres this one piece you either break it or install it backwards. If not it will shred the belt. Your having aligment problems.

but we figured they may have gave me the wrong one.. then we went to autozone and got a sec.. neither one is lining up with the s/c pulley
seems to be sunk further in...so i figured am i installing the alt wrong
or is my s/c pulley not on correctly.. the shop that normally works on my car are too far away to drive it too.. damn i might have to get this ***** towed, cause im runnin out of patience.....and battery power..
