i have a 96 automatic with 97k miles and i've had my sc sitting in my room for over a month. i know i need a VB mod and a tranny cooler so i wont blow my tranny, but i really cant afford the VB mod right now. so my question is......if i install the s/c would i blow the tranny right away? how long would it take? 30 mins? few days? a month? i dont drive the car much, about 5-10 miles a day. and obviously i wouldnt be riding the car hard until i get the VB mod. thanks

p.s. i'll be pushing 9-10 psi

 

if you dont boost, you should be fine. just dont run your engine above 4000rpm.
