?s about uping boost and hp on v1
right now im running a 99 5spd with the v1, 3.33 pulley, the rest is the standard stillen kit. with this set up now i am seeing 9psi at 40 degrees and below. i want to install the mevi, 3.125 pulley, cai, fpr, 370cc, 8:1 fmu disc, and s-afc II. i am just looking for a little guidance to make sure this set up will function well. any comments or thoughts would be appriciated. thanks

You'll need to turn down the base fuel pressure to ~26psi withOUT the JWT ECU and use a 6:1 FMU disk for the 370s to keep fuel pressure at ~80psi. HOWEVER, double check with someone who actually has a SC.
Using www.rceng.com, you'd be good for ~380bhp assuming a BSFC=0.60, injector DC=80%, and 79psig of fuel pressure.

Just what 370s at that pressure should "safely" support.
380whpx0.85 = ~323whp, so he should be fine, right?
Just conservative estimates, I wouldn't want that high of fuel pressure personally, but at 80% duty cycle with 370s, he might bring down the pressure some.

I'm a lil hazey on the FMU ratios myself. Gonna be running a V1 setup with 3.25" pulley, CAI, 370's w/FPR, walbro pump, and a VI (which is already on the car). The thing that I'm confused on is whether to use a 3:1, 4:1 or 6:1 disk with this setup. Guess with all the hear say I see, most people use the 3:1 but then there are others that use different. I understand the RC engineering calculations but calculations and real world senarios can be different from time to time as well. Anyone clear this up for me? Thanks

yes... I have the same question... I will be running.
V1,MEVI, 2.87, FMIC, CAI, Walbro, FPR. I am not sure which disk I should be using either, beacuse im not too sure what my HP numbers are... I guess hooking it up to a wideband would tell me, but I would like to know, so I can get the disks ahead of time. I guess a little more perssure is ok, because I can always lean it wit hthe AFC, but I dont want excessive. I was thinking if I were to use the 6:1 disk:, it would be alright, because at WOT, the DC will probably be at 100% beacuse the MAF will be saturated.. so that would be good for around 475 BHP.
But like keith said... real world results might vary.. so hmmm..
also: is it safe to run the 370's at that pressure?

that would do fine right?
