Turbo sizing for automatic trannies..any different?
I'm not sure exactly(which is why I'm asking)...but since the power distribution throughout the powerband is different, would it be optimal or would there be any advantages to sizing the turbo differently on an auto than say on a 5spd? I'm clueless as to whether it would make a difference, but was just wondering...any input?

There is an advantage on this, but it also depends on the torque convertor. If you have a nice high stall, you can launch at a good boost level where the 5spds will not.
But stock tq convertors i would not bother because after I did the 5spd swap im still seeing the same boost levels at the same rpms basically.

If you get a high stall torque conveter that is around 3000 rpm and you have a turbo that gets full boost at 3000 rpm or a little higher you will have boost of the line. That is more of a drag situation and I wouldn't get a stall higher than 3000 because ti will start to affect daily driving.
