GSS342 Installed!
GSS342 Installed!
Just wanted to get some info for those of you running the GSS342. I just installed mine today, and it was an easy swap out. But I've noticed that my idle fuel pressure is at 40psi, before it was at 32psi... Is this normal???
Anyways my egt's are quit low and the car feels very responsive. Unfortunately, I could not boost fully due to the weather in NY, I'll keep you posted when I get the chance.
I also wanted to add, I'm still running stock fpr. I do have the Vortec SFMU, and I will start installing that unit to fine tune things once I get the fuel rail fitting from sx7r. Thanks...

sounds like the usual. the high pressure walbros usually shoot the pressure up a little...the most I've ever seen though is usually 3-4psi, I wouldn't doubt that whats happening in your situation too
so why is mine at 60 psi with the walbro fuel pump at idle???
also..as you can see in my sig...would it be better to put the BOV away from the maf...because i had the problem of the rpms dropping below 1000 when im up in the 2500 rpms cruising..then the car would come back on and drive normal...i know its due to the atmospheric bov, but would relocating the maf away from it solve it?
