Blitz BOV letting out too much air?

my BOV was letting out a lot of air and i had it tightened by a friend and yesterday (4 days later) it seems to be letting out a lot of air. Why would it do this and tightening just involves tightening the screw on top of it clockwise right?

Symptoms i see are car cut offs after revving really high (rpm just keeps coming down and doesnt know when to stop sometimes). Also i think i dont get the response i wanted. Not sure if i'm just getting used to the SC or the BOV having low vaccuum having to do with it?

BTW, egt gauge installed and i havent seen 800 yet and thats with bouncing off the rev limiter in 3rd gear

The BOV is letting out metered air so you're either gonna need to retrofit a recirculation tube like the stock setup or get a S-AFC and utilize the deceleration feature or somehow place the MAF on the charge side of the blower.

i have an afc, how do i utilize the deceleration feature? I would think there is some adjustment you can make on the actual BOV though...

Mecca, by the way, dont just the 800c temperature to everyone else. Yours is sitting on the Ypipe where the two come together, its going to be much less. DO NOT make a judgement on that until you dyno tune and see where the EGTs sit when the car is fully tuned.
