Garrett GT3037 (56 trim) ???

Any of you guys have any opinions on the GT3037, using a .63 AR on Turbine??
I'm thinking of getting this unit, but I wanted a second opinion...

I also know that this thing uses both water and oil.. Not sure where to tap the water for recirculation, but It shouldn't be to difficult to figure out... Thanks..

Small?? Really?? Thought it would out-perform the T3/TO4E.. I would like to know if it can produce about 10-12 psi of boost up-top and maintain that pressure... 10-12 Psi should be adequate for the GT3037?

If you have any questions about it being able to outperform a certain turbo, just compare their compressor maps.

What size is that .63 turbine you are talking about, is it like a T3 size, T4 size, maybe something like a t-25/28? Just asking for reference.

Yeah, turbine is .63 AR. Where would I find the compressor maps for the GT3037??

Have you tried going to HKS's website to check on the 3037's?
I'll give my .02.
For the Z, people have hit 550HP to a little over 600hp off of GT250's! For arguments sake, lets say that's 275HP off of 1 turbo (to the wheels)
I know they dynoed the 3585's and hit something like 817HP!!!!!!
I know the 3037's fall in between that and I believe a Z'er has these turbo but don't remember what he dynoed.. I want to say somewhere in the 550ish - 600ish HP range (not all the supporting mods)
WITH that in mind lets say that 1 turbo will be 300HP... Are you planning on putting down 400-500HP???? for turbo''s like the 2530's, 30307's etc... 10-12 psi is NOTHING. These turbo's can hit over 20psi.
Now, I don't know how the T3/t4 compares as the Z doesn't utilize this style of turbo but I thought I'd give my .02 on the matter.
good luck/

Thanks for the info. Currently, I'm using a T3/T4.. The AR on the compressor is .60.. The AR on the turbine is .48, which is way to small.. It spools fast but up-top it hesitates... This is dued to the inadequate flow of exhaust leaving the turbine housing at high rpm's. As a replacment option, I wanted something DBB.. If I were to get a T3/TO4E with the same compressor specs as my current unit, but with a .63 ar and Ball bearing option,, I'm looking at $1500.. And I don't think, they make DBB options in T3/TO4E's.. They only come in Single Ballbearing. The Garrets are far cheaper, and they are DBB...

I was under the impression that the GT3037 is equivalent to the T3/T04E... maybe Im wrong... But I would like something that can produce 300-350 whp on 10-12 psi of boost without any problems..

Any version of the "GT30R" family will support 300-350whp. However, I'd just choose the bigger AR on the turbine side to keep VE high.
