auto or manual?

you will have more fun with a manual tranny + SC.

It was fun for me and I have an auto. here is my list of pro and con
pro:
1.power - I got 273whp vs stock's 180whp.

con:
1.maintenance - takes time to align the belt. I shredded couple before I got the alignment right.

2.fuel economy - with SC - 19-20mpg, without SC -23-24mpg.

its worth it if you have the paitience to deal with the extra headaches that can come up. I will say that all though it is alot of money, the feeling of your car sucking you in your seat makes feel like it was worth every penny.

And like was said before, my gas mileage sucks!

Wowzers. Do you have any numbers like 0-60 or 1/4mile? That would be really interesting to know. Great job!

Definetly worth it, if you have the money...dont go taking out a loan to supercharge your maxima...if you can afford it and your interested in working on your car...go ahead and buy one

Nothing against the people who have sc but im not a big fan of them all I can tell u if u want best performance for u money u should go with turbo set up. You can easely get 300 hp just of 7-8 psi if u do it correctly. So the buttom line is its ur money but i wouldint get sc

And blow engines left and right

SC is more reliable as a daily driver.

If you can't handle the "headaches or extra maintenance" of the S/C kit.... forget about turbos...

They are very finicky unless the whole kit is "truly" tuned... AND you don't tweak it (which puts it out of tune).... yeah... right... no tweaking.

Having an SC means that you'll become a hands-on owner.

I've learned the intimate details of how to dismantle the kit and how to change the pulley and belt as well as tightening the belt properly.
