Thread about 3rd Gen guy running 21-25psi w/a 11.9 1/4 mile

RI-MAX is telling the truth. Its a z31 motor that IS built, and he claims that he runs up to 25 psi. So dont go saying he is bs'ing, he just didnt have the full story. He does have 18's, but I have never heard a 1/4 mile time come out of his mouth before. The car is really fast though, and I am sure many have heard of him before (Quake). Pics of it can be seen at www.cardomain.com/id/madmax024. His is the white one. I have been looking to race him incidentally, but havent seen him around the street racing scene recently. VE turbo vs. VG turbo...should be interesting. Although 15psi vs 15 isnt much fair. Especially since his is built.

I've known of a few VG turbos. But none that could take that much psi ON A STOCK ENGINE. Which was the jist of my statements. RI dude just needs to get his facts correct that's all. Again, I'd like to see it. Wouldn't everyone?

No offense, but what do you expect coming in here and saying you know someone with stock internal maxima running 11 second 1/4 miles on street tires, with nothing to back it up? Anyone who's been here more than a few days knows what a bunch of skeptics we are...

Ok, so he's not telling the truth then. He had MISINFORMATION. So, why should I or anyone listen to what he is saying. that ONLY confuses things more. So he was full of BS.

And the ONLY things you know about his car is he has a built motor and runs on 18's.

This is the kind of thing that people read once and say, "I know a guy who runs XXpsi and has a stock motor."

It helps nobody.

So I locked it. If you have any real heartache about ME locking the thread PM me.

If Quake wants to register and talk about HIS setup, GREAT. If not, don't post what you think might be the case.

Now after all of this

Thanks dany, jeff, and jeffeson for helping explain

edit.... spelled jeffeson wrong
