Will this BOV work w/ V2?

Hey Guys,

Well I've been attacked my the ModBug and want to get a Blitz Blow off valve for the new SC. Anyone know if this one will work?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

If this wont - is there anything on ebay that would work for my application - or where can i get a good price on one?

Thanks

Yes, that bov will work. It's the older model Blitz, though, the new model is the Dual Drive. Blitz and HKS bovs bolt right up to the mounting flange on the Stillen SC kit. The Greddy bov does not.

So the HKS SSQ screws into the stock flange on the V1 piping? Thanks.

The SSQV does not bolt right on...I had to cut of the stock flange and have the HKS 50MM flange welded on....then it fit right on

I remember posts about the older Blitz model where the spring can get stuck and leave the bov open. I believe that the newer Blitz DD bov doesn't have that problem.

I had it running 9psi and I did not like it. It does not release air when decelerating or when you rev to red line which pushes the air back through the s/c. Plus it makes your car "jerky".. Your not going to get a whole lot of noise out of it other than a roaring sound from the air being pushed back through the blower. I think the blitz is nice and suttle. It makes an air sound that can easily be heard if you want it to be.

Good information - so what is the EXACT model name of the blitz blow off valve I am going to want to get for the v2 Kit. I am going to try to find a good deal on it either on eBay or online somewhere so I need to know which will work. Thanks guys!

For the Blitz BOV, you are better off getting it from Summitracing.com for $189. Great service, good inventory and you can't beat the return policy.

Matt,
Thats the set up I have. I love the sound of it. It is loud when you want it to be...and maybe mine is set up different than vortechpowers but when I am just decelerating it sounds mean has hell...it is just constantly bypassing thru the BOV. Plenty of people in the DC area have heard mine if you want to talk to them about it.
