Turbo Ve finally Dynoed..pic inside...

let me know what you guys think..It missfires at around 4700 rpm, so we tried to add more fuel but still ran pretty lean..
FUEL MANAGEMENT:
Cartech FMU, walbro 255 fuel pump, SAFC
Stock Injectors..MAF on charged side.

I definately need 370cc injectors and a FPR..
Any suggestions to what else I can do to not make the car missfire??
I would assume the Stock injectors are maxing out...Boost is set at 8psi..

Thanks

ALSO: Not really satisfied with the power output...especially with a 60-1 turbo...

check your plugs, you souldn't be misfiring. Dude that looks pretty good for 8 psi. What kind of exhuast do you have. A 3 inch exhuast would increase spool and give you a big jump in power. Look at bags dyno. He has a VQ and is making 300 whp with 10 psi.

Oh yeah pay for an hour of dyno tuning, not 2 runs and try to get that air.fuel ratio 12 across above 3000 rpm and you should be good.

Power Output should be a little higher considering what's been done so far. I wold suggest upgrading to some z31 or z32 injectors or you can go with something a little more on the aftermarket side but our stock injectors aren't made to handle that load. But those are still some badass numbers for a car that was 190hp/190tq stock and made it up to 277hp/300tq. Once you get a better air/fuel mixture then you'll be into 300hp range at 8 psi. BTW are you intercooled?

I found out a month ago that a nismo adjustable FPR for the sr20det and rb26 fit our rail just gotta remove the right bolt out of the power transitor unit and turn it alittle
I had mine in for 2 weeks but was having problems with my aftermarket injectors so took it out and fixed injectors never reinstalled

Vg injectos are smaller than VE injectors. VE injectors are the same size as the VQ injectors. So we can sorta ride the VQ guys for info at least in general. You VG guys are on your own to have to resource the Z31 turbo information. Z31 injectors won't fit I believe unless they are side feed. I thought they were top feed like your stock VG injectors?

I would say that your power output is quite low for your setup. Mine in comparison made 10 more hp, at 1 psi less, on a turbo that pushes about 10-15% less air. Thats all on a motor that has 8.5:1 compression too. But, if you look at your graph, I would say that if you didnt have your misfiring issue, you would be making a lot more power. Your torque figures are quite high for the power, and I am sure that if you solved the misfiring problem, and redyno'd (getting a/f a lot better too), you would see a lot more power than you do now. Your power also drops off where mine kept at the same power level. I think this has a lot to do with your exhaust. Go with the 3". I have one for sale. Its a full 3" all the way through the muffler. PM me if you are interested.

Also, what is your timing set at, that is something that must be looked at too. I hope it isnt advanced at all. For a reliable setup, I would hope the guys who tuned your car retarded it about 2* from stock (13*BTDC).
