If your not boosting, your cartech is not adding fuel. When you boost, fuel is added

See they don't tell you that until its too late!

Power = Fuel = Money!

Wait until you actually start boosting!

All of us in here talk about how fast our cars are, but we don't talk about the cost. My heart sank as my gas needle would go down right in front of my eyes during boost!

I've been running through gas lately, mostly due to city driving, but 270-280 miles on the tank!? Thank God on the highway I still get 320+. Im not tuned yet either and I've been running superrich for the past 8 months, will my mileage ameliorate with tuning or will my foot just get heavier?

I had the same discovery after I threw on the SC. Just think of it as part of the deal.

I'm feeling so much like putting in the 3.125" tomorrow since the wifey is working.

I get 25 around town provided I don't boost....
Problem is that with a 2.87" Pulley, I start boosting around 2600-2800RPM
So it's pretty hard to drive ultra-conservative to save gas.
Once I'm boosting, I'm probably doing 16-18MPG.

On a hard run, I wouldn't be surprised if at WOT I'm doing 10MPG.

I put the Cartech on last week to fix my lean condition up top and haven't tuned yet - so i'm pretty rich. My gas mileage is WAY down on this tank due to that.

So yes, tuning makes your car get better mileage.....obviously.....less fuel used = less fuel used per mile.
