FMU Replaces stock FPR?

I'm in a little bit of confusion...if you buy an FMU (vortech), do you replace your stock FPR with it or do you add it past the stock one (return from stock FPR goes to fuel-in on the FMU)

Thanks and this is kinda urgent...

add it past it...without boost the gas just flowed threw the FMU, when boost is acted onto the Unit, a Diaphram is pushed down creating more fuel pressure to be added back towards the injectors.
