Turbo for 2k1 auto...
Is there any turbo kit available for us 2k1 auto max ? Since I almost have the cash to invest in either S/C or Turbo, I would prefer to buy a ready kit than having to customize a bunch of part and piping and what not, I guess if it's not available then I'll take the S/C route.
Thanks

Nope. Main reason being is that the auto tranny sits much lower with the tranny oil pan taking up alot of the real estate where you want the turbo downpipe to go.
Do what I did and build your own, if you dont want to do that, then buy PFI's kit and then just have a shop custom do the Turbo Downpipe. Id suggest using oval exhaust pipe to clear the tranny pan and then transition back to standard 3" pipe.

Or do what we did. Use a 2.5" downpipe and a 3" lowered car and just drive around. Speed bumps and rocks will do the rest.
Auto Maximas do not like turbo downpipes. If you aren't too low, it's within reason but Shadow's car is borderline undrivable but there's more risk of tearing off his bodykit overall.

TURBO sound appealing for the power but in all honesty, it look like a money pit and most I dont want to spend all my week-end tuning the car, I just want to have a little more powa and fun, so hopefully a S/C with Cattman Headers can probably fullfill that. Hey Big Dog I hope your having fun with the corvette, I alway like the vette, but since I just bought a brand new Murano, I not going to be in the market for a car before a good 2 years.
