That's exactly when I want it to open....just not when pulling away from a light/putting around.

You're going to be scaring little old ladies off the road if it opens up every time you're pulling onto the highway. Not to mention what happens if there's a trooper around.

As long as I don't break traction or exceed the speed limit, no worry. I love going WOT from a dead stop to 60mph at the intersection I drive through every day to work.

On long road trips, I'd leave it set above my peak psi, so it stays shut. Around town 3-4psi should be enough for daily driving and wide open for WOT runs.

I don't know but to me this seems better than electric cut out because you can adjust the setting for when it opens and then you don't have to remember to fool with the switch and such.

Chris,

It's personal preference. I'd say just imagine when you typically want it quiet and when you want it loud.

Personally, I want it loud anytime I go WOT without having to do anything, however I guess an eCutout with a WOT switch would be an option.

I still say, drop your straight pipe and drive around a bit BEFORE you order. The noise might be too much and attract the WRONG attention, ie .

Well, gentlemen, I dynoed today at lunchtime, and I am happy to say it came in at 273 tq/348 hp. I just about fell down when the operator told me. I was expecting about 320 hp at most.

I'll post the dyno when he emails it to me.

SM,

Do you have a before/after AFR from your WB02?

Yes. The after afr is slightly leaner. For instance, at 6850 rpm, the before afr is 11.7:1 and the after afr is 12.05:1. That may be due to an air leak in the freshly bolted up joints, or it could be due to a slight increase in blow through during valve overlap, which would indicate improved exhaust efficiency.

I believe this is his previous SC dyno, but he's added a few tricks since this besides headers.

I dynoed almost exactly a year ago and came in at 240 tq/285 hp. But the dyno operator only took it up to 6600 rpm, I had the stock muffler on at the time (I've got an Apexi WS now), and

a. I think my mevi might not have been operating correctly, or
b. my SC belt tension was too loose and started to slip, or
c. both of the above, or
d. none of the above.

At any rate, I had a leveling off of hp after about 6200 rpm that I didn't see this time.

Oh yeah, and that was back before I rerouted the intake pipes away from the engine/radiator/front header.

About 12 psi,

4.4 volts from the Z32 maf,

69 psi fuel pressure (I've got it bumped up a bit after 5000 rpm with the Cartech)

thanks a lot, Im hitting 10 PSI peak 7200 rpms with the 3.33" pulley without the SC CAI and Im about to switch to the 3.125". Im also running the A32 MAF at the moment so I dont know how much more room I have left before I have to switch to the Z32 MAF. Im sure after the pulley swap and CAI I will be nearing the 12 psi mark peak so Im just curious.

At 10 psi you are probably very close to maxing out the A32 ecu. I think I hit 10 psi when I made 285 hp, that's about 340 hp at the engine, 10 hp away from the A32 limit.

And I rerouted the intake piping. I can't remember if I had the Pathfinder TB on or not at that time.
